Hunkeler Innovationdays 2023 in Lucerne: Kern draws a lot of attention with their appearance at the exhibition.
Kern made a highly regarded appearance at the Hunkeler Innovationdays in Lucerne. The focus was on the Kern 3200 flash, which enters a new dimension in modular multi-format inserting systems. In particular, Kern's new platform concept met with great interest: "With this platform, we have created an excellent foundation of three inserting systems with which we are perfectly positioned for the future," says Daniel Wenger, Head of kernMail.
The elite of digital printing gathered in Lucerne with European and world premieres. The Kern 3200 flash, which plays a pioneering role in terms of modularity, flexibility and reliability, and is regarded as the ideal solution for complex inserting jobs in the medium to high output range, fitted perfectly into this attractive environment. The system can handle up to 22,000 insertions per hour. The fully automatic processing of different envelopes is certainly the most outstanding feature of this system. Other strengths are the automatic speed adjustment and the preventive troubleshooting. The system is operated via a central touch panel.
The Kern 3200 flash was therefore a welcome guest at the Hunkeler Innovationdays: "All four days were very well attended and we were able to present and demonstrate the new inserting system to many existing customers, but also to many other interested parties," says Daniel Wenger and adds: "Thanks to the reliability and efficiency evident in the process and the low noise level during operation, the system made an excellent and lasting impression on all trade visitors. We are very optimistic about the future of the Kern 3200."

Hunkeler Innvovationdays is an international trade fair with almost 100 exhibitors. Over 6000 trade fair visitors from more than 100 countries underline the attractiveness of the event, which takes place every two years and lasts several days. This year, Hunkeler and its global partners presented numerous new products and innovations under the motto "Next Level Automation".
